Design System

Every icon follows the Tracewire logo's visual language: thick strokes, layered outlines, and geometric construction. No text or lettering. Each icon communicates its purpose through essential visual elements alone and remains legible at favicon scale.

Suites are distinguished by container shape and color: circles for Onboarding, pentagons for Workforce, hexagons for Foundation, squares for Reporting, and diamonds for Tactical. Each application inherits its parent suite's shape while adding a unique internal element.

Onboarding Suite

Covers the full pipeline from initial application through background clearance. The suite icon places a door with steps inside a circle, representing entry and new beginnings. Yellow (#FBBC05) signals approachability.

Two applications: Applicant Management uses a person silhouette to represent the individual at the center of recruitment. Background Management uses a fingerprint to represent identity verification.

Workforce Suite

Handles employee development, training, and accountability after hire. Five abstract human shapes form the pentagon suite icon, representing teamwork and professional growth. Tracewire Blue (#135C9B) conveys authority.

Four applications: Field Training (officer silhouette for mentorship), Training Management (graduation cap for formal learning), Performance Evaluation (medal for achievement), and Professional Standards (justice scale for accountability).

Foundation Suite

The operational backbone: scheduling, equipment, and fleet logistics. A pillar inside a hexagon symbolizes stability and the systems that support everything else. Green (#34A853) signals readiness.

Three applications: Schedule Management (calendar pages for shift coordination), Agency Quartermaster (stacked boxes for inventory), and Fleet Management (steering wheel for vehicle operations).

Reporting Suite

Structured documentation for critical events and specialized operations. A layered report emblem inside a square represents accountability and record-keeping. Red (#EA4335) conveys urgency.

Five applications: Use of Force (impact mark), After Action (reversed arrow for reflection), K9 Tracking (dog on documents), Crisis Response (abstract swirling form), and Drone Operations (top-down drone view).

Tactical Suite

Real-time coordination for tactical and negotiation responses. A location pin with map grid elements inside a diamond conveys precision and situational awareness. Dark gray (#565A5D) reflects the operational tone.

Three applications: Tactical Operations Commander (ballistic armor for readiness), Negotiation Operations Commander (chess knight for strategic thinking), and Incident Response Management (broadcast tower for rapid alerts).

Delivery

Files are organized by suite, with applications nested inside their parent folder. Each icon ships in four variants: full color, grayscale, solid black, and solid white for dark backgrounds.

The system is built to grow with the platform. New applications inherit the established visual language: their parent suite's container shape and color, thick-stroke construction, and the principle of communicating function through visual elements alone.
